July has been another productive month for the team as we continue to strengthen industry relationships, develop new commercial opportunities and advance our innovative armour technologies. From participating in industry events to progressing strategic growth initiatives and supporting ongoing product development activities, we’ve continued to build momentum across the business.

Driving Growth Through the STAC Scale Programme
July has seen further engagement with the STAC Scale Programme as we continue working alongside industry experts, fellow innovators and our dedicated mentor team.
This month’s workshops covered a range of topics designed to support business growth and long-term success, including human resources, branding, intellectual property building blocks, funding strategies, pitch development and understanding customer needs. These sessions have provided valuable insights as we continue to develop both our commercial strategy and the wider foundations required to scale the business.
The programme continues to challenge us to think critically about how we communicate our value proposition, engage with customers and position Vikela for future growth in both domestic and international markets. Equally, the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and collaborate with other innovative companies has been invaluable.
As Vikela continues to grow, the knowledge and support provided through the STAC Scale Programme are helping us strengthen the business alongside the continued development of our armour technologies. We’re looking forward to continuing the programme over the coming months and applying these insights as we progress towards the next stage of our growth journey.
Supporting the Security Industry at the International Security Officers’ Day Hall of Fame Awards
July also provided an opportunity for members of the Vikela team to attend the International Security Officers’ Day 2026 Hall of Fame Awards, an event celebrating the professionalism, dedication and achievements of security personnel across the sector.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with security professionals, industry leaders and partner organisations, while gaining valuable insight into the evolving challenges and opportunities facing the security community.
As a company committed to developing innovative protective solutions, we are proud to support events that recognise excellence within the industry and highlight the critical role security professionals play in keeping people, property and infrastructure safe.
We would like to congratulate all award recipients and thank the organisers for hosting a successful and inspiring event.
Advancing Product Development and Testing Activities
Innovation remains at the heart of everything we do, and July has seen the team continue a wide range of product development, evaluation and testing activities.
Our engineering team has remained focused on advancing key development projects, supporting performance validation programmes and preparing for future customer demonstrations and evaluation opportunities.
By combining advanced materials expertise with rigorous testing and validation processes, we’re continuing to develop solutions designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern defence and security applications.
As customer interest continues to grow, these development activities play a key role in ensuring we can deliver innovative protective solutions that meet operational requirements while maintaining the agility and comfort demanded by modern users.

July has been another busy month at Vikela as we continue balancing product development, customer engagement and business growth activities.
